March
2nd - Ash Wednesday / Attend Mass and receive ashes.
3rd - Feast of St. Katherine Drexel, watch short video about her life/ Make a list of your Lenten intentions.
4th - Attend Stations of the Cross & First Friday Mass.
5th - Decorate a special almsgiving jar or box for you or your entire family/ Attend 1st Saturday Mass
6th - 1st Sunday of Lent / Make Stations of the Cross cards to carry with you.
7th - Feast of Saints Perpetua & Felicity / Leave a note or treat for your mail carrier.
8th -Feast of St. John of God / Lenten Mission Guest priest Fr. Alek Schrenk.
9th - Pray the Rosary/ Lenten Mission Guest priest Fr. Ken Marlovits.
10th - Send a note/card to a friend or neighborLenten Mission with Fr. Tim Deely.
11th - Support the Assumption Fish Fry!
12th - Unplug from all electronics for an hour or even better, the entire day.
13th - 2nd Sunday of Lent/ Attend the Halcyon Voices Trio Concert at 3pm in the church.
14th - Donate a bag of food to a local church or charity.
15th - Taize Prayer Sevice 7pm.
16th - Choose a family offering such as giving up desserts/ Pray the Annunciation Novena.
17th - Feast of St. Patrick, Bishop. Read about St. Patrick and complete the coloring sheet.
18th - Make homemade cheese or veggie pizza as a family/Attend Stations of the Cross.
19th - Feast of St. Joseph/Lenten Family Day 11am.
20th - 3rd Sunday of Lent/Light a candle in church for someone who needs special help.
21st - Pray for people in your parish’s RCIA program preparing to enter the Church.
22nd - Make a Jelly Bean prayer cross.
23rd - Learn about a saint that your family is unfamiliar with.
24th - Perform a random act of kindness.
25th - The Annunciation of the Lord/Color the Annunciation Coloring Page.
26th - Make hot cross buns.
27th - Laetare Sunday/Take a walk outside and look for signs of new life.
28th - Go to Eucharistic Adoration.
29th - Not just Friday: Have an additional meatless day.
30th - The Light is On for You, Receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
31st - Pray for good things for someone who has been unkind to you.
April
1st - Attend Stations of the Cross & First Friday Mass.
2nd- Volunteer some time at your church, school or community/ Attend First Saturday Mass
3rd - 5th Sunday of Lent/ Make an Easter Cross with watercolor paints.
4th - Fill your sidewalk with faith-filled messages.
5th - Make & eat a meager meal, talk as a family about ways to help the hungry.
6th- Memorize by heart a prayer that you don’t already know.
7th - Pray for all expectant mothers.
8th - Support the Assumption Fish Fry & attend Stations.
9th - Make Lenten Soft Pretzels and learn about their religious history.
10th - Palm Sunday/Make a cross from the palm you receive at Mass today.
11th - Take a walk as a family.
12th - Read a story to a sibling about Easter Week.
13th - Make Resurrection Rolls.
14th - Holy Thursday/Attend Mass of the Lord’s Supper and then go on a church tour as a family.
15th - Good Friday/Read the Stations of the Cross as a family.
16th - Blessing of Baskets/Help clean the house and prepare for Easter.
17th - Easter Sunday!!! He is RISEN!!!!
